Each season there are five tournaments that occur alongside the winter and handicap leagues and converge on finals night.
After the success of last year, the venue for this will again be The Jenny Lind, date to be confirmed later in the season. All preliminary rounds are to be played at a neutral venue. The tournaments that take place are as follows:
Captains - The captains from each team battle it out for their respective teams in a standard format of best 2 out of 3 with equal breaks
Over 50s - A chance for our experienced players to compete in standard format against one another.
Lower Averages - Open to any league participant with an average of lower than 2500 and played in a standard format.
Handicap - Open to all league players and a great way to get prepared for the handicap season. Both players averages from last season are taken and the player with the lower average gats a head-start of the difference between their averages.
Pairs - Players get the opportunity to play with a friend/team mate and play in a turn based pairs tournamnet with best 2 out of 3 progressing to the next round.
